Kombucha
Fresh, tangy and brewed your way.

Why Steady Temperature Matters
Steady, optimal temperature for your recipe → supports beneficial cultures becoming established → more predictable fermentation.
Kombucha relies on a community of yeasts and bacteria: yeasts use sugars, while bacteria produce the acids that give your brew its tang. Steady, recipe-appropriate warmth supports their activity and helps your established culture build the acidic conditions that discourage many unwanted microbes.
FermentPro maintains your selected chamber temperature, giving your tea and culture a consistent brewing environment. That makes the journey from sweet tea to your preferred sweet-tart balance easier to follow and repeat.
Why Temperature Swings Matter
Temperature swings outside the suitable range → stressed or slowed cultures → less predictable fermentation and increased contamination risk.
A chilly night can slow fermentation; excessive warmth can stress the culture and change the balance of its activity. The same tea and sugar may then develop a different flavor or take a different amount of time.
If acidification is delayed or the culture is disrupted, unwanted microbes may gain an opportunity to grow. FermentPro uses heating and cooling to maintain the chamber setting your recipe calls for, helping you manage the conditions around your brew.
Temperature control supports safer practice; it does not guarantee food safety. Use the required amount of acidic starter tea, clean equipment and your recipe's acidity and completion checks.
The Benefits of Brewing at Home
Save 89% on your everyday favorite. The FermentPro Recipe Book estimates $0.21 in homemade ingredients versus $1.88 store-bought per 8 oz glass. That is $1.67 saved per 8 oz glass.
Enjoy one 8 oz glass a day? That adds up to $609.55 in annual ingredient-cost savings compared with buying it ready-made.
Choose every ingredient. Start with tea you love, sugar for your culture and water. You know what goes into your brew because you put it there.
Make your favorite flavor, not just the one in stock. Bright ginger, juicy berries or fresh citrus—explore delicious combinations and find your own signature blend.
Bring living fermentation into your kitchen. Watch sweet tea transform into a tangy, refreshing drink, then enjoy the satisfaction of pouring a batch you made yourself.
Estimates from the FermentPro Recipe Book, based on the portions and frequency above. Actual prices and yields vary. Homemade costs cover ingredients; equipment, electricity, supplies and time are excluded.
Why Brew Your Own?
Every bottle you buy is another chance to start a better home-brewing habit. Here is what you gain when you make your own.
| What matters | Store-bought | Homemade |
|---|---|---|
| Cost per 8 oz glass* | $1.88 ready to drink. | $0.21 in homemade ingredients. |
| Your ingredients | Choose from a brand’s finished recipes. | Choose the tea and flavoring ingredients that go into your batch. |
| Your favorite flavor | Limited to the flavors stocked on the shelf. | Explore ginger, citrus, berries and your own favorite combinations. |
| Your preferred tang | The flavor is set before you open the bottle. | Taste as your recipe directs and finish your batch to suit your preference. |
| Your next batch | Another purchase when the bottles run out. | Keep a brewing routine going with tea, sugar and your established culture. |
| Reusable vessels | Each purchase comes in its own retail packaging. | Reuse suitable brewing vessels and bottles batch after batch. |
More choice in your glass. More value from each batch. If kombucha is already part of your routine, home brewing gives that habit a place in your kitchen.
*FermentPro Recipe Book estimates per 8 oz serving. Actual costs vary; equipment, electricity, supplies and time are excluded.
Why Bring Brewing Home?
A fridge stocked with your own creations. Plan your batches around your week and look forward to a refreshing homemade pour.
A flavor worth sharing. Make a classic tea-forward brew or try a new fruit-and-spice combination. Serve something that feels distinctly yours.
A small routine with lasting value. Reuse your vessels, keep your culture going and spend on simple brewing ingredients instead of another finished bottle.
Ready to start? Bring together your tea, a living starter and the right brewing setup. FermentPro helps take changing kitchen temperatures out of the equation with controlled heating and cooling.
The Problem
A warm afternoon, a cool night, a different season. The same spot in your kitchen may not stay at the same temperature.
Temperature is one factor that affects how fermentation progresses. A calendar alone cannot tell you when every batch will taste the way you like it.
FermentPro gives your kombucha a dedicated, controlled environment, so there is less need to guess which cupboard or warm corner to use.
The FermentPro Solution
Heating and cooling in one countertop machine. Set the environment for your recipe within the 50–115°F (10–45°C) operating range.
Use a preset or adjust temperature and time manually. Viewing windows let you check progress without constantly opening the chamber.
When the cycle ends, post-ferment cooling helps slow continued fermentation. It does not replace refrigerator storage or checking your brew.
FermentPro heats and cools to maintain your selected environment, reducing the need to find a consistently warm spot in your kitchen. Pair that control with your starter’s recipe and regular checks for a repeatable brewing routine.
The current FermentPro beginner guide uses the Kombucha setting at 85°F. Follow the instructions supplied with your culture and recipe, and assess the batch rather than relying on the timer alone.
Automatic Post-Ferment Cooling
Start any time. Set your fermentation time. When the cycle ends, FermentPro automatically switches to cooling, helping slow continued fermentation without a manual temperature change.
Less clock-watching. More freedom. Plan your batch around your day, with an automatic cooling step already built into the routine.
Set the fermentation time for your kombucha recipe. Automatic cooling helps slow continued fermentation when the cycle ends, making your brewing routine easier to fit around the rest of your day.
Post-ferment cooling helps slow fermentation; follow your recipe for completion checks and timely refrigerator storage.

Meet the Founder
I’m Dr. Wanping Hu, a medical oncologist of more than 20 years, a PhD-trained microbiologist and immunologist, and a mother of three.
For much of my career, my world was medicine. But my journey into fermentation became deeply personal at home, while exploring food and fermentation for my family.
As I began making yogurt, kombucha, natto, tempeh and fermented vegetables, I kept encountering one practical problem: different ferments needed different environments.
I couldn’t find one appliance designed to create the different controlled environments these foods needed. So I created FermentPro®.
My hope is bigger than creating another kitchen appliance. I want to help bring fermentation back to the home kitchen—so making fresh, fermented foods can once again become part of everyday family life.

Before You Start
The bundle brings the machine, glass vessels and starter culture together. Use the beginner guide and the culture’s instructions, keep equipment clean, and follow a reliable process for each batch.
The current FermentPro beginner guide gives 3–4 days at 85°F as a starting point. This is guidance, not a guaranteed completion time. Culture strength, ingredients and your preferred tartness can change the timing.
The bundle includes two 1.7L beakers. Actual batch size is lower than the combined nominal vessel volume because recipes require starter liquid and headspace. Follow the fill level and quantities in your recipe.
No. This offer includes the machine, two glass beakers and organic SCOBY starter with starter liquid. Provide tea, sugar, water and other supplies required by your recipe.
Do not taste a suspect batch. Fuzzy mold is a reason to discard the batch and culture, clean the equipment and restart with a fresh culture. If unsure, consult reliable food-safety guidance.
No. The machine controls the fermentation environment. Optional carbonation is a separate bottling process that requires an appropriate recipe and pressure-rated bottles.
The product page lists free shipping, a 1-year machine warranty and a 30-day return request window. Eligibility conditions and fees apply; starter cultures may need specific handling. Read the full return policy or contact info@ferment-pro.com before returning bundle items.
Sugar feeds the kombucha culture, so do not remove it from a recipe without validated instructions. Residual sugar and alcohol vary with ingredients and conditions; flavor is not a reliable measurement. If you need to avoid alcohol or manage sugar intake, choose products with suitable labeling and seek appropriate dietary advice.
